Ok, who wants to see a sneak peek of new products coming in the January - June 2021 Mini Catalog? ✋ After attending a virtual 3-day program introducing the new Mini and upcoming Sale-a-Bration brochure, I was fortunate to be able to pre-order some of the products. And the first bundle I chose was the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle, including the Rainbow of Happiness stamp set and the Brilliant Rainbow dies. My mom, who passed away in July, loved rainbows, so this set has special significance for me. There are 14 stamps in the set , and 10 dies, and you can create all kinds of rainbows - big, small, and in-between. So what did I make first? A fun set of mini cards! I love to include a mini, 3" x 3" card when I sell retired products. So I'm always making these, and I love how these turned out. Using one of the dies, I cut four colors - Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Gorgeous Grape, giving me 4 sizes of each color. I merely combined them for the cards. The Stitched Shapes die is retired (but will never leave my stash!) and it's the perfect size for this little rainbow. I stamped the greeting along the bottom in a color matching the largest arc of the rainbow and also made that the card base. Then I just popped up one of the little clouds, included in the dies. Cute? YES! But then I started playing a little more... This time I stamped the rainbow and stretched out the photopolymer greeting (yes, you can alter the shape of these pliable stamps), then used a piece of the FREE Sale-a-Bration coordinating Sunshine & Rainbows patterned paper to mount it on. And then: This time I cut the rainbow with the largest die and some Rainbow Glimmer paper (how fitting is that?) and mounted it to a watercolored piece of Basic White. And look at that cute border: Mini rainbows! LOVE! Can't wait to get your hands on some of the new products? Well today is your lucky day! For just 3 more days you can join Stampin' UP! for the ridiculously low price of just $75 and get $125 worth of product and FREE shipping! Join now and you'll get to pre-order products from the new Mini Catalog starting December 1st! There's never any obligation to do anything else - join, receive your products and do nothing but have a wonderful time creating! I made this card same time as Tuesday's card using the same set, and the SAB Simply Marbleous DSP. Again, I wanted to keep this in my stash for any occasion so I did not add a sentiment to the front. I did stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with my Stampin Blends markers. I used Cherry Cobbler for the wine, Pool Party for th birds and on the glass, Misty Moonlight for the dress, SU400 and SU1000 for the skin-I colored lifted some of the dark SU400 and added the lighter on top, Crumb Cake for the hat, Smoky Slate for the table and SU300 for the hair. I then cut this out with the Stitched Shapes die and popped it on the DSP piece then a piece of Misty Moonlight card stock and a white base. I did add some Cherry Cobbler twine to pull out the pop of red from the image. I finished with some blue gems. Hope you hav a relaxing Thursday! Thanks for stopping by!
