Quick and easy card - layer Be Bold Blooms from Spellbinders onto die cut heart from Spellbinders Essential Hearts die
Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms Dies (S5-502) handmade cards using inspiration from Sarah Renae Clark’s Color Catalogue and Color Cubes.
I love this set of Be Bold Blooms dies from Spellbinders. There are different sized flowers and leaves and they layer together to give a lot of visual interest. I also cut some larger leaves using the My Favorite Things Layered Leaves die. Dimension to the center of the flower was added by using a darker hue of pink ink and ink blending with a mini blending brush. The layout was inspired by a similar card made by Jennifer McGuire. I used gold mirror cardstock for the center of my flowers and

Hello there, I hope everyone is well. After an extended time off due to recovering from surgery (nothing serious), I am finally back in my craft room! It will be a bit slow to start with, so I hope you will bear with me but it is nice to be back! Today I have a card to share with you using the Spellbinders April 2023 Large Die of the Month Club Kit. This month is called "Punch & Pierce Frame & Sentiments" and you can see why! There are a few different layers/panels that you can use (I used two of them on my card today). There are also lots of lovely sentiments too! PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure. I started off my card by die cutting the piercing frame die from the Spellbinders April 2023 Large Die of the Month Club Kit from white cardstock. I popped all the pieces out and then adhered it flat to an A2 white card base. I then die cut the smallest of the panels from white cardstock also. The 'hello' word was die cut three times from Spellbinders Royal Amethyst Cardstock for the word itself and the shadow cut from white twice. They were layered up, one on top of another using Bearly Art Glue, for dimension. I then stamped the 'from me to you' sentiment from the Spellbinders Sentiments For You Stamp Set on to white cardstock with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink and cut into a strip. I already had some of the Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms Etched Dies cut. I like to have these cut but not assembled, so that I can assemble them when needed. I grabbed some purple flowers and green leaves and arranged them on the panel. Apart from the large flower, they were all adhered flat to the panel. The large flower was popped up slightly with thin foam tape. The sentiments were then adhered in the middle with more thin foam tape. The panel was adhered to the card with thin foam tape and then the card finished off with a few Spellbinders Fashion Oyster Color Essentials Pearl Dots. A floral packed card featuring the Be Bold Blooms and Mini Blooms and Sprigs die sets from Spellbinders.
Hello friends! I am popping in to share a happy and cheery card. We are in the mist of dead winter. My yard and trees may look beautiful in the winter wonder. BUT, I am missing seeing colors! Introducing Be Bold Blooms Etched Dies. About this die set: This Be Bold Blooms Etched Dies is part of the Be Bold Collection. The set of 21 thin metal dies creates a fabulous spray of big and bold blooms! Use some or all of them, it goes well with any type of projects that calls for a wonderful floral motif! In today's card, I also tried out the new Spellbinders Gemstones. These new and improved gems are shiny and dimensional! You want instant bling? This is it! One thing that I want to mention is... do not get overwhelmed with these 21 pieces of dies at first. All you need is to get acquainted with each piece and you will feel so accomplished once you started assembling (ask me how I know!). How do you get "acquainted" with the die? I would find the photo of the sample (from the Spellbinders website) and have it facing right at me on my craft desk. By spending just a few minutes, you would get the sense how all the pieces come together. Mind you, you do not have to follow exact instructions.... I love to make my own sometimes. However, it is definitely easy to have a guide to follow. Little by little, you will be able to assemble your own flowers. I also recommend that you study the bouquet photos over Pinterest. Observe the flower bouquet's composition and colors.... and so on. Once you do all that, you will ace this set and have a blast creating your own bouquet. I colored all the pieces with Alcohol Markers. I used Altenew Artist Markers since I have the most colors from the Altenew collection. However, you can use ANY coloring medium in your stash. I also want to point out that Spellbinders' new Precision Layering Dies are a dream to work with. No more weird or odd rectangles! No more measuring! Just die cut and layer.... I used two of the layering dies and they make the design look even more polished. If you do shop Spellbinders, please check out Spellbinders HERE. (FREE US shipping over $75) Thanks for stopping by!

I had so many flowers and leaves leftover from my previous card that I decided to make another. This time using less flowers. The Memory Box Matinee Rectangle was used to cut a panel from white cardstock. I used the second largest die. This gave a smaller canvas, if you will, to arrange the flowers on. I decided to dry emboss it using the Darice Basketweave Embossing Folder. If you look at my cards you will see that adding texture behind a focal point is a favorite of mine. I like the way i

Today I have a card I made using Spellbinders All-Occasion Mailbox Greetings foil plates. This is one of several products in their beautiful Parcel and Post Collection release! There are four different themed foil plates in this set and I chose the thank you sentiment. I love having thank you cards on hand! First I used my Glimmer Machine to foil the sentiment onto Spellbinders Glimmer Specialty cardstock with pink foil. I used my paper trimmer to cut it into a rectangle shape. Next I used the Hand Drawn Scallops embossing folder to emboss some pink cardstock. I trimmed it to 4" x 5-¼" and adhered it to an A2 card base. I really love the shine of the pink foil! Next I die cut some of the flowers and greenery from the Be Bold Blooms die set with cardstock scraps. I played around with my sentiment and flowers to arrange them just right. Then I added foam tape to the sentiment and a few of the flowers. I used liquid glue to adhere the other elements. I think this may be the shortest blog post I've ever written! LOL! But seriously, this card was that quick. Who doesn't love a card that's quick, easy, and yet so beautiful?!! Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful, crafty weekend! I finally got the Spellbinders' Bold Blooms! I have a drawer full of scrap cardstock. This die set is perfect for using up the scraps. Look at all the colors I used. I really like how the dies cut and emboss at the same time, adding dimension. The only diecut I popped up with foam is the large blue flower near the bottom. The sentiment is from an old stamp set by Hero Arts, I stamped and gold embossed it. The best news? Spellbinders has a huge sale going on, this die is on sale, and quite a few dies are now 50% off! I have a card for the the Color Hues Challenge - Orange and Green. Naturally, I thought of flowers so here is my card. I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest. I used a different background, sentiment and different colors. I used Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms again (love this set). I die cut the flowers from white and sponged the centers and small blooms with SU Peach Parfait ink (retired). I die cut the flower centers and branches from SU Early Espresso card. The leaves are cut from Wild Wasabi card (retired) and the sprigs from SU Certainly Celery card (retired). The white panel is die cut with Ink to Paper Border Bling: Tin Stitches and layered with a mat cut from SU More Mustard (retired). The sentiment is from SU Blossoms in Bloom (retired) stamped in Early Espresso ink and mounted with foam tape. The larger blooms are also mounted with foam tape and the leaves glued under the petals. Sorry for all the retired products but I find it hard to get rid of them. :) Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day. Happy Stamping, JoAnn
