In the middle of a horrendous rain storm I was able to create a springy card today. It rained so hard today it was like lions and wolves coming down instead of cats and dogs. I am warm and dry in our trailer and had a most enjoyable day. DH and I went out for breakfast to Lund to a place called Nancy's Cafe. Oh my, they have the most awesomest (I know not a word but they truly are) sticky buns there. We did not have them for breakfast, but brought some home to eat another time. DH is out on the water today teaching a course and it is the day they do a night run. I bet he is having an adventure out there. Good thing it is a cabin boat and they will be warm and dry. I created a card with the Stampin' Up! set Easter Blossoms available only until April 30th in the Occasions Mini Catalogue (page 17)...... I stamped the branch image in Soft Suede around the left hand side and the top of the card. Then I stamped the little girl image in Bravo Burgundy on Whisper White cardstock and cut her out with nestabilities. I wanted to use my Ovals and Scallop Ovals dies with my Big Shot, but I forgot to bring them with me. Then I sponged on some Pink Pirouette ink around the stamped image. After the ink was good and dry, I attached the oval to a scallop oval also cut out with nesties, then spritzed them with Champagne Mist Shimmer Spritz to add some bling. Here is an upclose picture of the bling ... Ah, love that glimmer. A bow tied in Pretty In Pink satin ribbon is wrapped around the 3 layers. I stamped Happy Easter in Bravo Burgundy ink on the bottom right hand corner. I hope you get a chance to do some stamping today. I feel a day without stamping, is like a day without sunshine, only a LOT better!!! Stamps: Easter Blossom Ink: Bravo Burgundy, Pink Pirouette Markers: Pink Pirouette, Pretty In Pink, Regal Rose Cardstock: Whisper White, Bravo Burgundy, Regal Rose Other: Nestabilities, Pretty In Pink Satin Ribbon, Champagne Mist Shimmer Spritz, dimensionals Happy Stampin' ... ... ... ...
Easter is coming quick. This Easter card was made using the Easter Promise stamp set. I used Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Highland Heather Blends to color in the spring flowers.
Welcome to the NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world who are full of creative paper crafting ideas to share with you and get you crafting! Today we are showing how you can "step up" a card idea using the same stamp set. I chose the Easter Lilies Bundle! Simple Card: Uses stamped images Stepped Up Card: Uses die cut images The Easter Lilies Bundle is great because it gives you the two options. Stamp and die cut or just die cut lily shapes and build the flower. Both look amazing for different reasons! Simple card with stamped images is only 2D, which makes it look simple compared to the 3D lily below. I used the same measurements, embossing folder, color scheme, and embellishments for both cards. The only difference is the dies I used to create the 3D lily. Which is your favorite? Simple or Stepped Up? I have had a few requests for Easter cards from my ladies, Chris (sis-in-law) had a great design for a card using the Just Believe stamp set , so I adapted it to make this one. I didn't have any Daffodil Delight ribbon to match the flowers, border and butterflies, so I used So Saffron instead - I don't think it looks too noticeable. The border is cut using the Finishing Touches Edgelit dies. The butterflies cut using the Beautiful Wings Embosslits. The sentiment is from a retired Stampin' Up! stamp set. Basic Rhinestones for the butterflies bodies, to add a little bit of bling - and I did add Dazzling Diamonds to the flowers - but you can't see it at all in this photo! Happy Easter!!

When you need an Easter egg, look for an oval die. I found the perfect Easter egg in the Fabulous Frames Die Set, which I used to cut Basic White Cardstock, Subtles 6" X 6" Designer Paper
I used the Stampin’ Up! Easter Lilies stamp set bundle to create an Easter card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.
I mentioned in an earlier post that I had been coloring the lilies from The Greetery in various mediums. So today I have two more cards to share. I used distress inks to color the top card and then added details and some depth using colored pencils. Blended some broken china ink for the background and spattered with some water. Put my bouquet together, added a little sentiment, put Nuvo drops in the centers of the white flowers and done. My second card uses only colored pencils for coloring the flowers. I blended some peeled paint and shabby shutters distress inks on a piece of white cardstock and then die cut the leaves and palm fronds from it. Added details with colored pencils. Arranged my bouquet on the background piece, put it all together with the sentiment and done. I am entering both cards at Happy Little Stampers current challenge and also the second one at the Festive Friday challenge (flowers, green, pastels). Thanks for dropping by and love to read your kind comments.
I am in love with this unique & easy card made with the Dainty Flowers Designer Paper and the Stampin' Up! Easter Bunny Bundle!

Welcome to Makeover Monday!! Today's project is a stepped up version of yesterday's Simple Sunday card using the Easter Friends Stamp Set. Just a few details change the look of yesterday's card. The flowers are die cut from the Bouquet of Love Die that are only available while supplies last. The chick was stamped on a piece of Shimmery White, heat embossed in gold, die cut and water colored. Here is a look at them side-by-side. Which one do you prefer? Here are the dimensions: So Saffron, 11 X 4-1/4, score
Hello and welcome. I was really excited to find I was the winner of Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges #011. I even get to display the winners badge on my blog. Wolla! The theme for Inspire.Create Challenges #012 is 'Animals' I thought I would explore some more possibilities with the Lots of Love Box Framelits Dies from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue. I have already made the box as it was intended (see my previous post here) but some Easter baby animals came to mind today. I started with a rabbit and played around with some Designer Series Paper scraps to add some 'Easter' theme colour. Then of course, as it usually does, my creative mind took over and I decided to give a chicken a try. Then a duck. Quack, quack. Oh my goodness where did the day go? OOPS! So here's the gang. Instructions: Using the Lots of Love Framelits Dies cut 2 pieces of the box die in cardstock. Then trim the small tabs off one end, this end will be the flap that folds over to create the bunny's face. Fold all your score lines except the one that will run across his face. If the score line worries you just trim another piece of cardstock to the pattern and adhere to front flap to cover the score line. After adhering the sides of your box together fold in the bottom tabs and flap to form the box. Then holding your box upright press the sides inwards starting at the top to form a gusset on the side panels. Now fold the top flap over to the front of the box to form the baby animal's face. To add features to my baby animals I have used the heart dies from the Lots of Love Box Framelits, the Layering Oval Framelits and my 1/2"(1.3cm) Circle Punch. For the chicken cone and duck's feet I used the Blossom Builder punch. To hold the box lid closed I used small magnets. The top one is adhered with glue dots under the noses. For the inside ones they are attached with glue dots also then I adhered a punched circle of cardstock over the top of it. If you intend to give these to small children velcro dots may be a safer alternative to prevent accidental ingestion of the magnet. I hope you enjoyed viewing my projects today. To purchase any of the Stampin' Up! products used just click on the photographs below and they will take you straight to my online store. Until next time take care and enjoy your crafting. Don't we all need a sweet little bunny to make us smile these days? We are sharing Easter Projects today on our Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. I wanted to create something kind of soft and sweet. So I pulled out the bunny from Fable Friends. The sky was done with Seaside Spray Cardstock and Whisper White ink and a sponge dauber. I love the softness of the clouds with this technique. I colored my bunny with Light Soft Suede, Ivory, Light Pumpkin Pie and Light Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends. I used the Garden Gateway Dies for the fence, arch and vines. The grass and flowers are from the Special Day Dies. The background mat and some of the flowers are from the Pleased As Punch DSP. 🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇. So just like my bunny, you can hop from Blog to Blog looking at Easter inspiration! You are invited to the Inlinkz link party! Click here to enter
The Easter Lilies Bundle is AH-MAZ-ING !! At first I thought the dies just cut out the stamped images from the stamp set. But then I discovered that there are also dies that create a 3D lily and leaves. And wow, is this 3D lily pretty. That's what I want to show you today. Here is the Bundle: Here is the replay of today's Facebook Live that shows exactly how to create the lily: For the sentiment on this card I used a stamp from the Heartfelt Hellos Stamp Set. This set is free with a minimum $50 order during

I saw a card online somewhere with a bit simpler design, but similar to this one, so I decided to make a few to send to family members. I started with a yellow card base and added a smaller white panel on which I had printed the sentiment with my computer and then added a pierced design with a large die. For my "sunrise," I first die cut the square with rays, then also cut a piece of yellow glitter cardstock the same size as the die-cut. I used an orange alcohol marker to add some deeper color to the yellow. After adhering the glitter CS to the back of the die-cut, both were added to the top of my pierced panel. My cross was cut with a sentiment strip die from some wood-patterned cardstock and the leafy, curly branch from a medium green cardstock. Then it was just a matter of positioning the leafy branch around the cross and attaching both to the card with foam tape. I printed the inside sentiment with my computer and my card was complete. I've made a LOT of Easter cards already, but most of them have been donated to the thrift store. In fact, I took 16 cards to the thrift store at 10 a.m. yesterday morning, of which 8 or 9 were Easter cards. All the Easter cards had sold by lunchtime. I think that Easter is one of those times, like Christmas, when people who rarely send cards actually do. I haven't taken photos of most of my Easter cards--it's just too time-consuming when I make so many of them. You'd be bored to tears looking at all of them, anyway. As you read this, I will probably be at the Orthopedic Surgery Center with my husband. He is having his second knee replaced today with a new one. For his first knee surgery, he was heading home only 1 1/2 hours after the surgery ended. I hope it goes as well this time. Thanks so much for stopping by, and remember to laugh--a little or a lot--every day. Cheryl
Friends & Flowers stamp images set the stage for today's Easter Bunny card. I love that this stamp set has so many possibilities like a baby pea pod, fish, bunny and pretty flowers &
I realize it's a bit late for Easter, but think NEXT YEAR! LOL I wanted to share this beautiful card which I first saw on Pinterest and I think it was shared by Tami White - but who knows where it originally came from. Anyway, I LOVE how it turned out and used it as a demonstration in my March stamp club! The Work of Art stamp set was definitely not my first choice from the new catalog last year, but then......well......all these enablers started sharing these wonderful ideas and they are still coming. If you don't have this set,...
I sent the card base of this card to some of my "stamping ladies". Had to get a sample of the card here for them to see. I used...
