This shot was taken looking down over the Hope Valley from Stanage Edge, it had been raining all day finally clearing up in the late afternoon so I headed out for the last hour of light. Initially it was dull and grey with a thick band of high cloud but as the sun dropped below it the light was stunning illuminating a colourful patchwork of fields and moorland which I picked out with my zoom lens.(Olympus EM-1 Mkii 12-100mm f/4 pro 1/20 f/5.6 @ 41mm Kase Wolverine GND0.9 (3 stop) soft grad + polarising filters) www.stephenelliottphotography.co.uk
