Timur-i-Lenk was the 1st Amir (King) and founder of the Timurid Empire. The most cruel commander of his time, he never lost a single battle. His victories were the Coup in Chagatai, Conquest of the Persian Ilkhanate, Conquest of the Golden Horde, Battle of the Kondurcha River, Conquest of Mazandaran, Conquest of the Delhi Sultanate, Invasion of Armenia, Conquest of Syria, Conquest of Baghdad and the Battle of Ankara. Timur died in 1405 at the age of 68 while advancing to conquer the Ming China.
Tamerlán / Amir Timur (1336-1405). Fundador del Imperio Timúrida (1370-1526) extendido desde la India hasta el Mediterráneo y por el Norte cerca de Moscú. Estableció su capital en Samarcanda en 1370. Falleció en su intento de invasion de China. Enterrado en el mausoleo Gur-e Amir. Sus descendientes se establecieron en el Norte de la India (mogoles).
