This is one of the Hungarian specialities, a very common cake here. I don't know, whether You know this cake or not. Do You? :) I learnt the recipe during my cooking lessons in the University. I made it many times since then, too. :) Ingredients: 4 eggs 200 g granulated sugar 125 g margarine pinch of salt 750 g curd cheese 7 dl milk 500 g pasta (angel hair ) 2 tbsp vanilla sugar 3 tbsp sour cream 2 tsp lemon juice (cinnamon - optional) a package strudel pastry icing sugar Preparation: 1. Put the milk on the stove to heat. 2. Break the eggs, separate the egg whites. 3. Add a pinch of salt to the egg whites and mix it to get a foam. 4. Add the margarine and the sugar to the yolks, mix them, too. Then mix it with the vanilla sugar, and the sour cream, too. 5. Cook the pasta in the milk, you should stir it, while you cook it. 6. Mix the milky pasta to the pastry, then add the curd cheese to it, and a little lemon juice, and cinnamon if you like. Blend them. 7. Pour the foam to the pastry, and mix them carefully. 8. Oil 2 loaf tins with oil or margarine. 9. Put carefully strudel pastries into the tins. 10. Fill them with the curd cheesy-pasta pastry. 11. Cover them with the strudel pastries. 12. Bake them in the oven for an hour, 150' C. 13. When they are ready, cool them for 10 minutes, then you can serve them.
