Hi everyone! I'm so excited today to join the My Favourite Things Team as a guest designer for the MFT & Friends Feature, where the new January 2019 release will launce! I feel so honoured to be asked, I'm not showing you guys, but I did a little happy dance for sure over here, lol! You can check all the inspiration with the new products created by the designteam and friends here! Make sure to check my Video Tutorial for this card at the end of this post! I created a sweet card with the just most adorable stamp set So Much Love! You'll find this sweet girl and 4 great text stamps in this set. Our youngest daughter is nine now and she makes this gesture with her hands forming a heart almost daily, so I love this one! I created a card base with the thick Solar White Neenah cardstock and diecutted my front with normal Solar White Neenah Cardstock with the Stitched Collage Frame Die. I then blended my background just behind this frame with a blending tool and three colours Distress ink from Ranger, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick and Wilted Violet. I added some spatters of water to create a bit more depth. I diecutted the cute hearts that you see at the left side of my card with a new fun die, the Hearts Entwined Die using Tickled Pink Cardstock. I placed some window sheets behind the three squares at the right side and placed a few hearts in different colours behind these, to create fun shaker frames. I used Tickled Pink, Ripe Raspberry, Electric Red and Silver Glitter Cardstock for these cute little hearts that I diecutted with a die from the Tag Builder Blueprints 5. I then stamped the image of the girl with Black Tuxedo Memento ink on Solar White Neenah Cardstock. I coloured her with Copic Markers. Check the photo above to see which colours I used. I added some hearts on her dress with a new background stamp called Scattered Hearts. To finish my card I added the tekst 'I adore You' on a banner that I diecutted with a Die also from the Tag Builder Blueprints 5 set. To see how this fun card came about, check the Video Tutorial below or watch on YouTube in HD here! Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!
Hello everyone!!! I'm still on vacation at the beach in Oregon, but on Tuesday I did some stamping and it was wonderful! I set out all my stuff on the big table in front of the windows and just kind of colored, and relaxed. I didn't bring a ton of stuff with me, but I did bring the SUPER cute new Santa stamps from My Favorite Things, and of course, ALL my markers! I also brought some cute Doodlebug papers and I had just enough supplies to make a couple of happy and cheery Christmas cards. It's time to get...
Hi there crafty friends! Welcome at a new Sketch Challenge at MFT Stamps! We have a fun new sketch up for you this week, join us for a change to win a $ 50 gift Voucher at MFT Stamps! Can't wait to see you entries! I created a fun card with the adorable Super Boy stamp set to start inspiring you! I choose a slimline card base for this card, which I thought would match this sketch great. I added a front panel on this slimline card base, which I diecutted from white cardstock with the stitched rectangle die from the Slimline Starter Die-namics set. I blended the sky in two different colours of blue ink and then stamped the fun sentiment from the stamp set on the middle top of my card. I then stamped the fun buildings, which you can find in the You're Super stamp set! So glad MFT brought these Birdie Brown stamp sets back! Love them! I then added pieces of patterned paper, to match the sketch, just love their patterns and colours. I then stamped, diecutted and coloured this tough boy with Copic Markers before adding this super hero to my card using dimensionals! Create cards, layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch for a change to win a gift voucher at My Favorite Things! You can add your project to the InLinkz that are up at the MFT Stamps Blog! Good luck! Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Hello to you and welcome to the MFT & Friends October 2019 Release! I am so excited to share a couple of projects I made with this wonderful new release today. Such fun! To see all the inspiration from the Design Team and Friends and for more details about prizes and the products, be sure to visit the MFT Blog! I made so many projects, it would be too much to share in this one post. So if you'd like to see more of my creations, be sure to check out my Instagram the next days/weeks! But now to today's creations. I love the cute Festive Friends set! Here's the first card: Here I combined the set with the Classic Snowglobe Die-namics that I had die-cut from various colors of cardstock. The image is colored with Copics, the snowflakes are heat-embossed. Next up is a set of shaker tags: These tags were made with the new Gift Tag Die-namics. I die-cut the window with a square Die-namics. The sentiments are heat-embossed, the images are colored with Copics. And because I was in the mood for more shaking, I made a shaker card with the set: For this card, I inked the bottom with white pigment ink to create little snowdrifts. Again, I used Copics for the images and heat-embossed the sentiment. And here comes my last card for today, a clean and modern take with different colors: For this one, I used the adorable Merry Moments set. I colored the trees and Santa with Copics, the Joy is from the Joyful Wreath Die-namics. You made it through all the cards, thank you! I hope you enjoyed my projects as much as I loved creating them :) You will find all of the new release here. Happy shopping, happy hopping and thank you for stopping by! Hi there crafters! Welcome to a new fun sketch challenge at My Favorite Things! I hope you will all love this challenge and see you there! I cretaed this fun slimline card with the Fast-Track Friends stamp set! These cuties are speeding by to say hi! I started my card with Caribbean Sea Cardstock and added a front panel, which I diecutted with a die from the Slimline Starter Die-namics. I stamped rocks and plant on my skyline, which are from the Adorable Adventures stamp set. I then masked them to start blending my sky and grass. I blended the grass with different colours of green, starting with a darker colour at the bottom, working my way up to the sky in a lighter colour. I then blended the sky, using Summer Splash ink and the Cloud Stencil. I then removed my masking paper and coloured the stamped images. I stamped the text from the Fast-Track stamp set on the middle upper part, saying 'Racing to wish you a Happy Birthday'. I then added their race track, which is such a fun die for these racing critters. I diecutted Cement Gray with the Fast-Track Die-namics. I then stamped, diecutted and coloured the racing friends, before adding them on to my card, matching the three circles of the sketch.

Hello again, Another quick post, this time for MFT's sketch which I thought ended tomorrow but actually ends in 3 hours, hence the really bad photo! I used masking fluid to create the snowy sky backdrop for my Sweet Holiday Penguins. The white embossed, Wood Plank strips were left over from my previous card. It's also heading over to Time Out where the theme challenge is 'season' with the optional twist of colouring. I chose to make a card celebrating the holiday season and did the optional twist with Copic colouring. Happy stamping! Claire
Hello, it's time! MFT's January Release is available now for purchase so be sure to head on over to the MFT Online Boutique and shop! And don't forget to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details and more inspiration! What a cutie patootie this TI set is! I immediately though of rainbow hearts and that's what I went with. To begin, the image was stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers. Next I covered a Smooth White card stock base with MSTN Colorful Christmas Patterned Paper and set it aside. I trimmed down a panel of Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper and sponged it with Broken China Distress ink, spattered with clean water, and stamped the sentiment from the set. Before adhering to the card base with foam tape, I tied around some baker's twine. Once adhered, the colored image was popped up on foam for the finish! And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! Soon! For even more ideas and inspiration, please visit the My Favorite Things YouTube channel. All products from My Favorite Things unless otherwise noted. Hello there! I'm thrilled to be joining the amazing MFT designers and guests for this month's MFT & Friends, celebrating the brand new February release from My Favorite Things. Today is the day all of the awesome February products are available for purchase and let me tell you....I had so much fun playing with everything! I've got three cards to share with you, so let's get started! First up is a card using a bunch of new goodies - the Super Dog stamps & dies, the City Block die and the Tag Builder Blueprints 7. I created a shaker with the Tag Builder and adhered some of the City Block buildings inside along with some star & moon sequins I had in my stash. To carry on the theme of the shaker on my card base, I used Distress Oxides to blend some blue shades onto the black cardstock. Next I flicked some gesso onto the top portion of the inked cardstock piece to represent stars. I added more of the City Block buildings to this piece as well. The final step was to heat emboss the sentiment and add that cute superhero pup to the tag! Next up is a card featuring the Raccoon Cutie Die, the sentiment flag from Tag Builder Blueprints 7, and the Birthday Cake dies. The Raccoon Cutie is soooo easy to put together! And he definitely is a cutie! I added some detail with Glossy Accents and white gel pen. A birthday cake, complete with shiny chocolate frosting, was the perfect complement to my little woodland friend's birthday greeting! And finally, I couldn't resist using the City Block die again. When I first saw this die, I knew exactly what I wanted to do - create an awesome sky background. I broke out some orange, yellow, pink & red alcohol inks and created a gradient effect. I adhered the City Block die in it's entirety, and then stamped the greeting (part of the new Spectacular Birthday stamp set) with Archival ink and added the gorgeous scripty Birthday Wishes die (this month's Free with $60 Die-namics). I had a fabulous time creating with this month's new release - and there is SO much more to see! Head over to the MFT shop to check it out! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today - see you again soon!

All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started. I began with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then added a Sweet Tooth card stock panel dry embossed with Sunrise Radiating Rays Stencil and popped it up on foam tape on the base. Next I used a watercolored background I found in my stash using Wavy Coloring Book Background, matted it with Black Licorice card stock and adhered it to the embossed panel directly. Then I stamped the images from BB Gill Friends Stamp Set with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, colored them with Copic markers, and popped them up on the watercolored panel Then I heat embossed the sentiment on Heavyweight Translucent Vellum cut with Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strips Die-namics. I backed that with Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips using little dots of matte glue and popped them both up on the panel with foam tape. And there you have it!
