I teach about mental health and healing on social media, however social media is one of the things that greatly affects my ,and so many others, mental health. Why? We live in a constant mindset where we need likes and views for validation of our worth. We are comparing our lives with not only friends but people we don’t know, bringing on feelings of inadequacy (or jealousy). The temptation to mindlessly scroll pulls us from being present in our lives. And the list goes on… While social media has been a blessing for my business, as well as connecting me to some really amazing people, we must set boundaries. Limit the time you spend scrolling, tap on feelings of unworthiness or jealousy, and take time to just BE present in your life ❤️
